Hoprah Windfall, worried about her declining ratings because her talk show and her audience need new people, cries out to God and asks for help. God and his angels decide there is no better option than Taylor Ferry, the hardest-working man in the world. But when Satan hears this, he hatches his own diabolical plan to interrupt the whole ordeal. As Taylor prepares for one of his many jobs, which mostly involves helping her dysfunctional but loving family, God appears and orders him to help Hoprah complete her mission by writing a movie. By observing the crazy things in her life, she finds the essence of the story in her script!
